I think if you are already using Counterspell, this makes Dark Prophecy more attractive. Defiance: If there are 2 skull tokens (or 2 of another symbol of your choice) out of 16 total, Dark Prophecy increases the chance of drawing one from 12.5% to 54.2%, a 41.7% increase which means 2 out of 5 times will create a new hit for you. Dark Prophecy is a really good follow up to Dark Origins. While Dark Origins introduced Steve Dark and the startling story of his life and search for his nemesis Sqweegel, it had some nagging problems. Little things like having eastern European characters call everyone 'my friend' every three sentences. The dialogue was at times stilted.

Discover a 2-Cost minion. Summon it and give it +3 Health.

It's always a dark prophecy with Madame Lazul. Where's my happy, fluffy prophecy?!

Dark Prophecy is a rarepriestspell card, from the Galakrond's Awakening set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Two copies of regular Dark Prophecy are obtained by defeating Kriziki the Winged in Galakrond's Awakening's Chapter 1 of Explorers campaign.

Once the regular version has been obtained, both regular and golden versions can be crafted and disenchanted.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

A lot of the value from this card comes from the RNG of getting a good 2-cost minion. Cards with negative Battlecries such as Injured Tol'vir or Millhouse Manastorm are perfect choices to summon, since their effects will not be triggered. Other good picks are minions with strong Deathrattles, Triggered effects, or even Taunt. The extra 3 Health means that the summoned minion could potentially work well with Divine Spirit and Inner Fire, but remember that you might get minions with horrible base Health.

We think Indiana is a fine state, and one that should be free of interference from showboat Roman emperors. We also think you should take some time out to read The Dark Prophecy again before seeing the sights. The Tower of Nero awaits!

Not bad, but we worry how well you'd fare against, say, ostrich militias, torrents of basketballs... We'd encourage a review of The Dark Prophecy so you're good and ready for The Tower of Nero.
