How to change your default web browser
- Make sure that the other web browser is installed.
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click General.
- Choose a web browser from the ”Default web browser” menu.
Dear Community, since yesterday's Upgrade to the Outlook Version 16.16.0.I have not been able to access the desktop version of Outlook anymore. In the moment I open the desktop application, a pop-up window gets in the way, making it impossible to click on anything else than the pop up,- further action within outlook is not possible. One Outlook app is intended to bring a single Outlook client that work across platforms like PC, Mac, and the Web. It aims to replace Microsoft’s inbuilt Mail and Calendar apps on Windows 10. How to change your default email app
- Make sure that the other email app is installed. Although you might be able to use a web browser for email (webmail), a web browser isn't an email app.
- Open the Mail app.
- Choose Mail > Preferences, then click General.
- Choose an email app from the ”Default email reader” menu.
You might be prompted to add an email account before you can change the setting in Mail. If you don't want to do that, check the preferences of the other email app. You might be able to set a default email app from there.

Users of Outlook 2016 for Mac can now access public folders in Exchange Online in a number of different topologies.
Outlook for Mac limitations
All versions of Outlook for Mac can access Exchange public folders, but until recently these clients could not access public folders in the following deployment scenario:
- Hybrid topologies: On-premises users with a mailbox based in Exchange Online could not use Outlook for Mac to access on-premises modern public folders. Similarly, users with an Exchange 2013 or Exchange 2016 mailbox on-premises could not use Outlook for Mac to access public folders deployed in Exchange Online.
Outlook 2016 for Mac
With the April 2016 update for Outlook 2016 for Mac, as well as CU14 for Exchange 2013 and CU2 for Exchange 2016, the above scenario will now work for Outlook 2016 for Mac clients.
